Yook Ja Pak Ee - Nam Doh Chap Ga (Six-Letter Lines - Southern Popular Song)
In the 1950s, this was one of the most popular of Southern Korean folk songs. It was composed during the Korean Lee dynasty (1392-191). The song, performed by a group of singers led by a soloist, says that there is not much difference between life and death, or between young and old, and that position in life is not significant. This type of song is usually accompanied by the changgo drum.
