June, 2008 Newsletter

Dear Supporter,

Each year June brings the Smithsonian Folklife Festival to the National Mall, and Smithsonian Folkways and Smithsonian Global Sound will be part of the activities. This June we also celebrate a new Smithsonian Folkways release, Classic Piano Blues, the latest addition to the popular Classic series. Read on for more details, and make sure to visit the all-new Smithsonian Folkways website. Smithsonian Folkways is a nonprofit endeavor, and your purchases sustain both the mission and the music. Thank you for your support.
