Kamsale is folk dramatic singing and dance performance. It derives its name from the cymbal Kamsale which is regarded as a symbol of the folk deity Madesha. Kamsale is performed exclusively by males in the Mysore area of Karnataka.This is the invocation to Mahadeva - of the story Satyavante Sankamma.
