El Avram, a Mediterranean-themed nightclub that opened in 1967 in New York, welcomed international crowds to listen to lively songs performed in Italian, Russian, Yiddish, Spanish, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, English, and more. This collection of 11 songs re-creates what one might expect to hear in an evening at the club. El Avram owner and accordion player Avram Grobard, who moved to the United States after working as an entertainer in Israel, is joined by a backing band and four singers.
