Sirip sirip kori nasa hera nasoni (Jeng Bihu dance music)
This particular form of Bihu dance is exclusive to women. The word 'jeng' refers to a fence made of dry branches and leaves which young or newly married women make around their performance space (which could be a field or a courtyard), to prevent men from watching them dance and sing. The topics of the songs address issues such as womanhood, sexuality and relationships with their mother-in-laws, husbands, etc. This song exhorts the dancer to dance to the music with slow small steps.
