Armenian Folk Dances

Armenian Song & Dance Ensemble MON00321

Armenian Folk Dances presents a collection of songs that showcase traditional instruments such as the tar (lute), duduk (double reed instrument), zurna (the larger companion to the duduk), and shvi (whistle flute). The songs range from up–tempo and bright (“Gadagayin Bar (Humorous Dance)”) to slow and somber (“Ey Maral Aghtchig (You are Like a Gentle Doe)”).
